2. How do I get started?

The user-friendly COR system is very easy to operate. You just need to fill the demand form available on our website.

3. How long does it take to activate a new demand?

To activate a new demand, it takes maximum 5 working days from the date of submission of your form.

4. How long will the Demand remain active?

The demand will remain active till the date specified by you in the demand form. This can be done, by filling ‘Valid till date’ field. Once that date matures, the system will automatically de-activate the demand.

5. Can the demand be temporarily de-activated?

Yes, the demand can be temporarily de-activated by filling the required date.

6. How conveniently can I incorporate my demand?

You can incorporate your demand in three simple steps after you logon to COR main screen.

A. First step
There are two methods to select your demand. You can select either of the options or in combination.
a. Quantity wise – Under this selection there are two options

i. Total pieces - You can opt to specify the number of stones as per your requirement.
ii. Total carats - You can specify the quantity in carats as per your preference.

b. Value wise - You can specify total value in US $ also. This option helps you to specify the maximum value limit of that specific COR demand indicated by you.

B. Second step is to fill the ‘Valid till date’ field.
Under this option, you feed in the date mentioning the time period until you want to keep your demand active. This date will be mentioned as in “Day/Month/Year” format.

C. The third step is of filling up the ‘Re-occurrence Days’.
In this option you can select, how frequent goods do you want. It offers you alternatives as given below

• Once
• Weekly
• Fortnightly
• Monthly

E.g. if your demand for every week is of 5 pieces of not more than 5.50 carats with a maximum value of 18000 US $ and its validity is till 31st Aug 2005. The column details will be seen as below:

i.e.
1) Showing total pieces.
2) Showing total carats
3) Showing total value

In the above example, you may receive the said goods every week until the “valid till date 31 Aug 2005”. In this way, you can control your own buying by updating your demand details.

7. Can the demand be re-activated?

Yes, you can insert new “Valid till date” and re-activate the demand. It takes maximum 5 working days to reactivate. It is advisable to modify the ‘Valid Till Date’ column 5 days in advance before the maturity date, to keep the demand active

8. What are the parameters on which a diamond is graded?

The4C’s of diamonds are

• Cut

• The below table depicts the different shapes/cut of diamonds:
  Round, Princess, Pear, Oval, Emerald, Marquise, Square Radiant, Square Emerald, Radiant, Heart, Cushion, Baguettes & Triangle.

• You can choose CLARITY Grades from internally Flawless (IF) to I5

9. Is there any separate grading system for COR goods?

10. What is the system for allocation of diamonds?

As the basic idea behind COR is to maintain the continuous supply of goods as per your specifications, our goal is to supply maximum possible goods within your required quantity. This supply will depend on: -

• Availability of fresh good, which are first allotted as per the COR requirements and the balance are transferred for further sales.
  
• Any allocations made under COR, will be as per the precise attributes mentioned in your demand.
• The allocation of goods will be according to the judicious allocation system.

11. Is it possible to modify or change the specific demand?

Yes, you can easily modify or change the specific demand. You can

• Make additions in the current demand
• Alter an existing demand
• Delete an old demand

Once the demand gets activated as per your modifications, the old demand would automatically get de-activated.

12. How will I get the information about my allocations?

After logging in, you will be able to view all the allocated goods, after the last shipment. To get the details click on
‘COR’ link in the Main Menu.

13. Is there any relationship in allocation between two or more individual demand given under COR?

Each COR demand, is treated as an individual value. All allocations are independent of each other within the same COR order.
E.g. Demand 1 & 2 is for 10 stones each under the same order. Here it may so happen that you may be allotted 8 stones of the ‘1st’ demand & 5 stones for the ‘2nd’ demand. In this way each requirement is treated as an independent order by the system.

14. Can I return back some stones from my confirmed allocation made under COR system?

Selection under COR system, is on confirmed sale basis only, goods once sold are not taken back.

15. How can I stop my COR demand?

After logging on the main menu under COR link there is a facility for deactivating the COR demand. You can select the un-required demand and request to deactivate the same while rest of the demand shall continue to remain active. The deactivation process takes some time (30 – 45 min normally). Only under adverse scenarios goods might get allocated before deactivation

16. Can I buy the goods within a particular price limit?

You can specify the maximum price per carat limit, in US $, at which you would like to buy particular type(s) of stone(s).
E.g. In the above image ‘Max Price Per Crt’ 9500($) filled, and ‘Max Value Per Piece’ 10,000($) fill. In this case, stones which are as per the specified demand with having carat price less than or equal to 9500$ and an individual stone value less than or equal to 10000$, will be allotted to you.

17. Does the price of the goods remain constant?

Our R&D department constantly studies the market trend and then derives an individual price based on every single attribute of the diamond. The price remains same for the goods once allocated. We have a rationalized system for pricing, which takes into account not only the demand of a particular buyer but also considers the performance of a particular demand in the global market.

Buying under this system is utmost economical than any other prevalent system with us. Goods allotted will be equal to or below maximum price you have opted to put. Price information will be made available only after the allocation is made.
